CORK JAZZ FESTIVAL (October) The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival is a four day celebration of the best of Jazz with over 120 acts appearing on 28 Stages throughout the Festival. TITANIC MADE IN BELFAST FESTIVAL (April) The ultimate Titanic festival, in the city where she was built, is a celebration of the ship, her city and the artisan skills of the people who created her. DONEGAL TOWN SUMMER FESTIVAL (July)
Donegal Town Summer Festival has quickly become the biggest event in the calendar in the Donegal area. The event features open air concerts featuring many of the Countries Top Live Acts. Last years Festival Featured Big Generator, The Coronas, J90 and Mundy. DONEGAL TOWN BEERFEST(3rd Week September) Donegal Town BeerFest an idea stemmed from Octoberfest in Germany, the world’s premier beer festival. This year was the debut of the festival in Donegal and it met with unparalleled success. The festival had beer tasting in various pubs around town and also several open air concerts which included The Hot House Flowers playing live. DONEGAL FOOD FESTIVAL (August) A three day Celebration of Great Food and Drink set in the beautiful surroundings of the Blue Stack Mountains. Master-classes by Celebrity Chefs, Food workshops & displays.
LISDOONVARNA MATCHMAKING FESTIVAL (THROUGHOUT SEPTEMBER) Europes biggest single event runs all September with music and dancing day & night, meet Ireland’s matchmaker Willie Daly. A month packed with Craic, Music & Dance.
RORY GALLAGHER INTERNATIONAL TRIBUTE FESTIVAL (June) This unique 4 day tribute Festival takes place in the town where Ireland’s greatest Rock Guitarist – Rory Gallagher was born 61 years ago – Ballyshannon Co.Donegal.

GALWAY RACE FESTIVAL (July, August & October) Adrenalin-pumping action, heart-stopping finishes and breath-taking fashion; you are at the Galway Races. Situated on the outskirts of Galway city, the Galway Race Festivals are world renowned. The Summer Festival takes place late July. Autumn Festival is late August and the October Bank Holiday THE IRISH GRAND NATIONAL (Easter) A gruelling steeplechase which is run at Fairyhouse Racecourse in Ratoath, County Meath. It is the chief feature race at the Fairyhouse Easter Festival. THE DUBLIN HORSE SHOW (August) From August, 4th to the 8th, 2010 the Fàilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show will take over the entire RDS complex in the heart of Dublin. One of the top international equestrian events in the world, the show is a wonderful day out, offering something for everyone
THE ROSE OF TRALEE FESTIVAL ( August) The Rose of Tralee Festival, in which any woman with even remote Irish connection may enter in the hope of winning, has made the chief town of Kerry famous. The event is accompanied by a week of pageantry, music and merrymaking taking place in August. MARY FROM DUNGLOE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL (last week in July) Internationally acclaimed festival features a mix of traditional Irish music, dance, culture and song. The event features activities for young and old alike. IRISH DERBY June 2010 The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day is one of the most prestigious horse racing events of the year. Held at The Curragh, one of Europe's oldest sporting grounds, this event attracts the attention of horse-lovers from across the globe, and especially in the horse-mad country of Ireland itself. THE NATIONAL PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIPS (September) A cross section of everything associated with Rural Ireland, it attracts thousands of visitors each day. It includes 19 National ploughing finals, machinery & livestock exhibitions and upwards of 900 stands. Auto arena, bio energy village, indoor trade village. Entertainment, fashion shows, cookery & craft demonstrations.
